Anyway, I'm doing this thing called onelinedrawing right now. The stuff that's coming out lately is somewhere between Nick Drake and Cheap Trick, or like a boy Sinead O'Connor before all that Pope business, which I actually thought was really cool, though it seems like everyone hated her for it. I enjoy mistakes and embarrassing passion.

I wasn't planning on putting anything out, but all these people on the message board at my site (onelinedrawing.com) were curious, so I made up a bunch with Kinko's covers and sold them through the mail and at shows. There will more than likely be a band someday, maybe lots of different bands. I'll always play solo from time to time, as I adore the lack of lines, but there's nothing like a good band.

Something I mention a lot is a great phrase that a guy named Barry Sanders (not the football player) said: "Be serious enough to have fun." That feels like enough. If there are holes, be in touch. Oh, one more thing: I'm consistently amazed about the people I meet through doing what I love. Thanks to all of them.
